So, I have been in a mood where I haven't been wanting to sew or create anything. I need some inspiration. What do you do to get into the mood to create? Is there a series of actions that you have to do like cut on music, clean space, etc? I just haven't wanting to pick up a piece of fabric and thread in a few days. Maybe I'll get more in the mood.
Anyone want to share their ways of getting their creative juices flowing?
*Any websites you go to?
*Any particular music you cut on?
*etc
I often find inspiration from the people around me. You could make more toys like the giraffe. It was really cute and it sold. Sometime I just need a brake from making things and than after that I can create again. What are your other interests? Maybe you could bring them into the things you make for your shop?
ReplyDeleteThanks Jennifer for the tips. I actually am in the creative mood today but I have homework and my son will be home all weekend since it is snowing and he probably won't be able to go to stay the night at my mom's. I really enjoy making the toys so they are probably going to be my focus for a while. I too need a break sometimes. Sometimes I make things all day and then sometimes I take a couple of days off and don't look at my craft section of the house at all.
